Cameo is proud to announce its partnership with The Big Goal campaign, an award-winning nationwide initiative dedicated to tackling youth homelessness through the power of football.

Headline sponsored by Giacom, and supported by Comms Dealer and Sky Sports, The Big Goal combines team building with social impact to empower disadvantaged young people through football-led personal development workshops and mentorship, to improve their confidence, self-belief, and progress into work, education or further training, and where applicable, into more stable housing, helping to tackle the biggest social issue in the country in youth homelessness.

Companies signing up to The Big Goal commit their sponsorship and support of vulnerable young people to be able to join and complete the renowned Street Soccer Academy programme, helping to turn their lives around for the better, whilst being a part of a nationwide movement with a proven social impact to support their corporate social responsibility.

By joining The Big Goal Campaign, Cameo makes a public commitment to helping make a positive difference in society to support vulnerable young people.

Keith Mabbutt, Founder and CEO of the Street Soccer Foundation, and Founder of The Big Goal, said: “I was overjoyed when Cameo contacted us to offer their willing and support for our national campaign efforts through The Big Goal. Their involvement means the world and I am thrilled to see another business from the Midlands show their commitment to helping us tackle the biggest social issue in the country. Football has an amazing power to unify people and Cameo are the latest incredibly valued partner to help us collectively look to put an end to youth homelessness in England.

Luke Horton-Walker, Managing Director at Cameo, said: “We are incredibly proud to be part of such an important initiative that makes such a positive and real difference to vulnerable young people nationwide, using the power of football. It was a no-brainer for us, we knew instantly we wanted to support this initiative and are committed to helping it expand, building on last year’s success of supporting 462 young people. We commend The Street Soccer Foundation for their vital work.”

Through this collaboration, Cameo will not only be sponsoring young people through the National Academy programme but also be competing in The Big Goal National 5-a-side Football Tournament – the biggest corporate 5-a-side tournament in the country – fighting to secure their place in the National Finals, hosted at the world-renowned St Georges Park. This year’s winners of the National Finals will also have the chance to go on to represent England at the Corporate World Cup, hosted in Morocco in October 2025.
